Parking: Parking is available in the permit parking lot on the NE corner of Cass Street and State. Use spaces labeled Keen Suite 11 and 12.  Additional parking is available in the parking garage one block East on State Street. During the off season (Nov-April) we may have extra permit spaces available for $25 per night. Please let us know if you require additional spaces.

Entry: There are two entrances to the unit. A private stairwell is located on the South end of the building. There is an elevator available through the shared lobby entrance on the North end of the building. The Suite is located of floor 2 (not 2R). You will be issued a unique temporary door code using your phone number minus area code. This code will work on either Suite door. Touch the lock pad to light up. The locks can be tricky to use as the numbers can appear twice and move between each use. Take your time to locate your code and enter the code followed by the button on the bottom that looks like a fingerprint. The lock will buzz and turn green. The door will remain unlocked for 30 seconds.

The lobby entrance is locked overnight and during morning hours. The code is 0200.

Early Arrival Tip: If you arrive in Traverse City, after 11am on your Check-in day and before 4pm, feel free to park in our parking spots if available. From here you are an easy walk to downtown and many great places to grab something to eat. North Bar (just across the hall) is a great place to grab a drink and relax on their rooftop patio. The Pub is located downstairs and is a great place to grab a beer and some pub grub. The Parlor is is just a few blocks south and has excellent craft cocktails.

Climate Control: Each room (with the exception of the twin bedroom) has a mini split unit for temperature control. The remote is located on the wall beside each unit. The remote must be removed and pointed at the unit to register any changes you make to the temperature or mode. You'll hear a beep once the change is accepted. The bottom of the remote slides down to provide additional features. All units are set to 68 degrees and auto upon arrival. Extra fans are located in the hallway closet by the stairs. Space heaters are located in the laundry closet in case of a unit failure during winter months.

TV Assistance: Use the remote for most operations on the TV including the soundbar (connected by bluetooth)
YouTube TV is provided and logged in. To access apps select the home button on the remote to display the app bar at the bottom of the screen. Feel free to login to your own accounts, but remember to log yourself out!

Fireplace Operation: The fireplace can be controlled by the remote located on the mantel or by the controls on the unit in the lower right corner.

Trash & Recycling: Please bag all trash and make use of the bins behind the building in the alley labeled Keen Suite

Coffee: We have a regular drip coffee maker. We provide delicious local ground coffee and filters for your use.

Kitchen: We have a fully equipped kitchen with all the necessary tools to make almost anything you need. Theres everything from a blender, teapot, and porcelain baking dishes, to cooking oils, salt & pepper, and coffee.

Garbage Disposal: The switch is located in the cabinet under the sink in the upper right corner

Pillows & Blankets: Extra pillows and blankets can be found in the closets of each bedroom.

Laundry: The laundry is located in the hallway closet and is available for your use! Here you will also find the ironing board and iron, and the beach towels.

Beach Towels: 8 beach towels are available for use located in the laundry closet. Please return all towels prior to departure to avoid a $25 fee per missing towel.

Check-Out: A prompt checkout is appreciated by 10am so that our cleaning team can prepare for the next guests. If you desire a late checkout, please contact us at least 24 hours in advance. We cannot guarantee we will be able to accommodate your request based on cleaning schedules.

Before checking out we ask that you:

• Please load all dishes in the dishwasher and start cycle


• Remove all food from the refrigerator & freezer


• If you have extra trash/ recycling, please take it to the trash bin located in the alley behind the building


• Close all windows and turn off all lights


• Please remember checkout is 10am. A timely departure is appreciated so that our cleaning team can get started for our next guests.
