💡Early Arrival TipIf you arrive before Check-In, we recommend visiting downtown Traverse City for some shopping or eating; heading to Lake Ann Brewing Company for some drinks and pizza (actually ordered next door at The Stone Oven); grabbing ice cream at Moomers and then grabbing sandwiches at Fresh Coast Market

🗑 Trash & Recycling: Please bag all trash, deposit in bins on street; garbage day is Thursday

☕️ Coffee: Coffee/tea is central part of hygge so be sure to check out our coffee bar in the kitchen and the accompanying coffee manual

🍴 Kitchen: Our kitchen is equipped with all the basic spices, oils, and cooking utensils/equipment needed for a standard meal; FYI - we don't provide perishable items like condiments, butter, sauces, etc.

Towels and Linens: Fresh towels are located in bathrooms, beds will be made with fresh linens prior to guest arrival; back ups are available upon request

Laundry: Washer and dryer located in laundry closet (basement, behind screens); guests are free to use during their stay

Living rooms: Upstairs is a dedicated reading/socializing area while downstairs is set up as a gameroom and entertainment space

Barrel sauna: There's a 6-person, wood fired, barrel sauna outside; you'll find pre-cut wood directly behind the sauna, along with fire starter logs, and tools

📋 Before checking out we ask that you:

  • Return all furniture, keys, items, etc. to their original resting place

  • Wash, dry, put away all kitchenware

  • Empty the fridge

  • Dispose of garbage in roadside bin

  • Place used towels in washing machine

    • (Optional): start washing machine



  • Strip beds, place linens in designated laundry hamper, leave by front door

    • **Please don't remove mattress protectors from beds**



  • Lock all doors & windows

  • Turn off all lights, appliances, water

  • Check for personal belongings

  • Notify host of any damaged, broken, missing items, etc.
