The Discovery is a beautifully remodeled, two-deck touring vessel located in West Grand Traverse Bay. With a fully enclosed, climate-controlled main deck and an upper deck with panoramic windows, guests can enjoy the stunning views of Traverse City from every angle. The vessel is equipped with a full-service bar, as well as versatile seating arrangements for various group events up to 149 passengers.

We offer daily narrated sightseeing tours, evening relaxing pleasure cruises, special events, and charters of West Grand Traverse Bay on Traverse City's only floating venue!

We accept credit (Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover) and debit cards for online or over the phone reservations. We accept credit and debit cards, cash and travelers checks on site.

BOARDING
Please plan on arriving up to 30 minutes prior to departure. We offer ticketless boarding. When you make a reservation for any scheduled excursion, whether online or onsite at the dock, you’ll receive an electronic confirmation number/boarding pass. Boarding begins approximately 30 minutes prior to the scheduled time.

We cruise in all weather conditions unless the weather conditions are deemed unsafe by our captain. The vessel is fully enclosed and the main deck is climate-controlled for your comfort. This ensures comfortable cruising, rain or shine, in the spring, summer and fall.

Dress to the nines or wear your flipflops! Attire is up to you! Though The Discovery does abide by the no shirt, no shoes, no boarding policy.
